  1. Print out the template on plain copier paper or onto card stock for a sturdier version.  Cut out template and trace onto patterned paper.  If you have double sided patterned paper, this is the perfect time to use it, because you will want the inside of your container to be just as cute as the outside.  You could also make your own double sided paper by choosing 2 papers that coordinate and adhere them wrong sides together with a Xyron or sheet adhesive.
  2. Cut out and score the fold lines with a bone folder.  Assemble your box, gluing the side pieces together.
  3. Punch a hole on either side.  Add a ribbon or piece of yarn long enough to go over a doorknob.
  4. Embellish with stickers, rub ons, etc.
  5. Have fun personalizing it. Fill it with a favorite candy, dog treats for your favorite neighborhood pooch, or a small bouquet of flowers picked from your garden and deliver it (secretly) to your lucky recipient.  You can hang this little container on a doorknob and the possibilities for filling your completed container are endless!

Tip: If you set your punched holes with eyelets the holes will be sturdier.

You can find a fry box template on the Spellbinders Paper Crafts website (and check out some die cuts for embellishments of your own!
